🌿 Qi Pronoun Framework
🧭 Concept Overview
In classical grammar, pronouns are classified as personal pronouns based on the speaker’s position:
first person, second person, and third person. However, in Eastern metaphysics and especially Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny; Bazi), interactions are not limited to linguistic roles but are defined by energetic relationships (氣感).
Thus, we propose the Qi Pronoun Framework — a new way of classifying pronouns based on the flow, direction, and resonance of Qi (氣) between entities.
🔢 Qi Pronoun Levels
| Qi Pronoun | Description | Functional Role in Saju(Bazi) |
|---|---|---|
| First Qi | The self, the origin point of energetic perception | 나, 일간 (Day Master) |
| Second Qi | A direct energetic counterpart; exchanges Qi with the self | 비견, 식신, 편재, 편관, 편인 등 |
| Third Qi | An entity observed by the self, not in direct interaction | 관찰 대상, 자식, 외부인 |
| Fourth Qi | An object or being that interacts with the Third Qi | 제3자와 상호작용하는 존재, 기운의 반사점 |
🔍 Example
“My child (Third Qi) is startled by a tiger model (Fourth Qi).”
In classical grammar: Both are third-person pronouns.
In Qi grammar: The observer (self) perceives two layers of energetic interaction.
